A story about a little girl who was emotionally and physically abused; a little girl who was starved for four years and ridiculed because she had a
“funny West Indian accent.”
My story is not remarkable, but my journey is remarkable and continues to be remarkable.
It’s a journey of self-discovery.
It’s a journey of letting go.
It’s a journey that requires the power within to keep going.
It’s a journey that showcases the power of love.
I want to use my years of experience as a woman, physician, and deaconess to help other Christian women rediscover their power. More importantly, I want them to use their power to improve their health and quality of lives not only for themselves but for others as well.
