I vividly remember every Sunday my Mom taking us to Central Park for a picnic. The memory is one FULL OF LOVE. That allows me to create feelings of peace and comfort in this time of loss.
Do I miss my mother?
ABSOLUTELY, but I take comfort in the knowledge that:
1. She is in a better place
2. She is still with me in spirit
3. God is carrying me through the rough patches
4. I will always have memories of her gift of love
God is love and love is of God. Thank you God for giving me the gift of my mother’s love.
God will NEVER give us more than we can bear.
