Empowered By Love Or Overpowered By Fear
We look at what we SEE, and we respond to what we FEEL. Has it ever crossed your mind that what you see is an illusion. An illusion created by each of us to conform to the beliefs that we are HOLDING on to. What we SEE is what we project and create from our thinking. Let us be perfectly clear, I am well aware that we live in a world that is made up of an earthly realm as well as a spiritual realm. We also live in a world that has both good and evil, light and darkness, abundance and paucity, and fear and love.
WE OFTEN HAVE TWO OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM
Did it ever cross your mind than everything that happens is an opportunity for you to make a choice. Furthermore, there are really only TWO options to choose from. One choice leads to sustainable joy, peace, and contentment and the other leads to the illusion of joy and contentment.
Notice I did not say peace. One can NEVER have peace when separated or divorced from LOVE. The constant companion of anyone who makes the second choice, consciously or subconsciously, is a nagging sense of FEAR. How can you have peace if your day is CONSISTENTLY full of fear?
SOME PEOPLE CONCIOUSLY CHOOSE FEAR
Why do some people make the second choice? Yes, some people do CONCIOUSLY make the second choice because of:
- Pride
- Ignorance [they are unaware that they are holding on to some untruths]
Some people make the second choice unfortunately because they have been deceived. They have been conned into believing the lies and untruths that this choice is way better than choice number one. How is this possible? We are humans with a limited ability or capacity to know everything, and we tend to believe or trust what we can interact with by our senses.
WE CAN TOUCH GOD THROUGH HIS CREATIONS
What we fail to comprehend is that our senses can deceive us by convincing us that what we see is reality. Yet, that is so far from the truth. We cannot touch or see God; therefore, for many people, they struggle to believe that God [the Triune God] is real. Yet, we can touch God through His creations. We can connect to God through our relationships and interactions with each other. We can connect with God through prayer.
This is important to realize because we tend to feel disconnected from each other, but we are all one. We are all members incorporated in the mystical body of Jesus Christ. This is only real to those who believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. What happens to those who do not believe? They will live by always making choice number two.
UNCERTAINTY RESULTS FROM LACK OF TRUST IN GOD
When you are constantly uncertain of who is in control and who will protect and provide for you, you will constantly live in a state of fear. This fear comes from the belief that there is not ENOUGH [the state of paucity]. There is lack in areas of your life and as you strive daily to overcome the lack, you discover that as hard as you try you are never keeping up. Every day, the lack is there.
