A healthy body is worth more than fifty million dollars in your bank account. As a physician I have seen quite a few of the physical consequences of medical problems. Many of which could have been avoided if some time had been invested in physical health. Many of us are guilty of over-indulging from time to time; however, at some point we must recognize that the body was not created to tolerate that type of sustained abuse.
Thus, getting your health in shape is imperative in making you the best you possible. You will need to spend some time examining your body, your diet and your current level of fitness.
YOUR WEIGHT– what is your ideal weight?
DIET– what are you eating and how much are you eating daily?
ACTIVITY– do you spend most of you waking hours sitting in a chair? What is your current level of activity?
We will discuss what is your optimal body mass index (BMI), what dietary changes may benefit you, and how you can incorporate physical activity to help get you in better physical shape.
Wherever you are right now, you can become healthier. It is not what you eat, but how much you are eating that is causing so many health problems in our society.
Learn why diets don’t work in the long run for the majority of people.
