1. I was created to LOVE
2. God is always IN ME
3. God has ULTIMATE CONTROL
4. God TRULY LOVES ME

I WAS CREATED TO LOVE

I am a body created by God, through which the Holy Spirit works. The Holy Spirit is love; therefore, I am love. The only reason we forget this is because we have bought into the false reality created by our circumstances. We are therefore looking through the eyes of man, rather than with the eyes of God.

God has already overcome. While there will be trials and tribulations, He is ALWAYS IN YOU. This means, rest in the knowledge and take comfort that God ALWAYS has your back. I write this not only as a reminder to you, but also as a reminder to myself. We all need to be reminded in this fallen world.

GOD IS ALWAYS IN ME

You know this and yet you forget and start looking around for God. You know this, and yet you let circumstances DISTRACT you from the truth. You know this and still you fail to lean on God when you have lost your way.

Do you not know that God is your guide? Have you forgotten that He is a lamp to your feet and a light on your path? You WILL never know what is coming next, that is faith. You trust that whatever comes next, God has already made a way for you to get through it, go around it, or go over it. More importantly, He never lets you do it ALONE, for He is always IN YOU, with you, never forsaking you.

GOD HAS ULTIMATE CONTROL

The only control you have is how you choose to respond. When you choose to trust God fully, you live in a state of joy, peace, and contentment. When you respond by not trusting, you live in doubt and fear. Not a surprise, if you believe or think God does not really have control, it is understandable to have doubt and fear when you look around the world. However, that is the deception of Satan, to convince you that you can do better than God.

Here comes pride galloping furiously up your back to nudge you into saying, “of course I can.” I can figure this out without God. Hold up, what got you in this mess in the first place? The choices you made when you walked in the flesh. Let go and let God lead.

GOD TRULY LOVES ME

While this was the last, it is the one that means the most to me. It allowed me to FEEL LOVABLE. It allowed me to KNOW MY WORTH. Finally, it allowed me to OPEN MY HEART TO LOVE. I have made some horrible mistakes, I have spoken horrible words, and I have had some horrible thoughts, and yet God shows up every day with love, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, mercy, grace, and patience. For God knows that I act and acted from a place of fear and self-doubt.

God shows up every day to remind me, show me that LOVE, His love is dependable, faithful, powerful, unconditional, and genuine. That in Him, I am safe and secure. There is no need to fear or doubt my worth, for He reminds me daily in the Word and in life just how much He loves me.

YOU ARE WORTHY AND LOVED

If you have made it this far, perhaps you are beginning to feel the truth of God’s love. You know it is time to let go of the negative thinking you have attached to your past hurts and unpleasant life experiences. You know it is time to let go, release the burden, leave it at God’s feet. You also know it is time to embrace love and be fully united with God. May you reflect on this: “The Holy Spirit lives in you at ALL times, which means, you can be ONE with the Holy Spirit.”
