Why Spiritual Clarity Is Important For Peace
God has a blueprint for each life, whether you choose to agree or disagree with His design will ultimately impact the quality of your life and your total health. We all have free will; thus, we can choose to obey and follow His design or not to obey.
When you freely choose to follow God’s design for your life, your reward will be living abundantly (maximum jopeco level and optimal total health).
THE one QUESTION you must ASK FOR SPIRITUAL CLARITY
“Is the action or decision I am planning to take, one that will result in the W.A.G.E. of abundance or spiritual death?”
WISE – is this a wise decision? Meaning, have I seriously considered all the consequences (good and bad) of going ahead with this action or this decision? Are the consequences worth the effort? Remember some consequences can be negatively life-altering and irreversible.
An Unwise Decision Leads to Destruction
You can discern when your decisions are unwise (that “gut feeling you sometimes get when something just does not feel right” or “your conscience bites you”); however, you may choose to ignore the warning because you have lost your clarity or lost sight of the bigger picture.
reasons why you may make an unwise decision
You may make an unwise decision when you lose clarity because you are tired, emotionally upset, hungry, or distracted by financial or physical stress. Most people lose clarity when they are full of H.A.T.E. and empty of L.O.V.E. Shift your focus upwards to remind yourself of your identity and your greater purpose.
ALIGNMENT – is my decision in alignment with God’s will and purpose [His blueprint] for my life? Find the truth in the Word by reading your Bible and praying daily. Pray for God’s guidance and direction daily. When you learn to communicate effectively with God, he will
- Teach you how to speak in ways that praise Him
- Explain how to behave in ways that honor Him
- Describe how to dress in ways that please Him
- Guide your thoughts to be in alignment with His will
you’re out of alignment when you feel unsettled
When you make a decision that is out of alignment with God’s design, you can often have a restless night, a feeling of agitation, or feel edgy and irritable for no apparent reason. You get out of alignment when you forget to trust and be patient.
You are either in or out of alignment with God’s blueprint for your life. It is like being pregnant, you either are or you are not. You cannot straddle the fence on this one. Every action we take either moves us towards or away from our greater purpose in life. Think about that for a minute or two.
A bit intense perhaps but living an abundant life is serious business and requires your full commitment, discipline, and patience.
Don’t Limit Your Growth With Unwise Decisions
GROWTH – will this decision grow me up (move me closer to my greater good/God’s purpose for my creation)? If you are not growing, you are dying spiritually and eventually physically.
This should come as no surprise; you see what happens each season when the trees die. Thankfully with spring there is rebirth for the trees; however, unfortunately for us, if we are not in alignment with God’s design, when we die there is no rebirth. That’s it, there is no do over; thus, the time to act is now before it is too late. Choose love, you will never go wrong.
get in alignment with god’s plan and be at peace
EMPOWERED – will I be strengthened by this decision? When you act in obedience and accordance with God’s design for your life, you access the full power of His love. You are empowered by the Holy Spirit dwelling within you to keep moving forward in pursuit of your life’s purpose (God’s ultimate reason for your creation). Also, you are comforted and strengthened by the Holy Spirit dwelling within you. You maintain your peace, because you KNOW who is in charge and who is guiding your life.
