It may have been a year of difficulties for you. Perhaps it was a year of more losses than gains; however, through it all you found your spirit of power, love, and a sound mind to persevere. By your definition you struggled to cope and even though it was not at the highest level, you coped the best you could at that time.
ADVENT REMINDS US WHY WE PERSEVERE
The season of Advent reminds us of the good news of our salvation and redemption. It reminds us of where we get our strength from and the hope, we hold on to that allows us to persevere when things do not seem to be going in the direction we want. We persevere because we know that there is something better to come. We know that one day we will have no downs or losses. Thus, we persevere because we know that our Lord and Savior will come again to complete what He started in us.
CELEBRATE WITH JOY, PEACE, AND CONTENTMENT
If you have been following me, you have heard me used the expression, “maximum jopeco level.” That is living each day with maximum joy, peace, and contentment. It is so easy to let the worries of this earthly journey pull you away from being in a state of maximum jopeco level. However, remember that we have the greatest provider and protector on our side, who constantly reminds us in the Word to fear not. Stop creating unnecessary stress and worry. When you consistently do the good and healthy things, there is no need to create dis-empowering emotions or feelings. When you are fully surrendered and walking in the spirit, you will consistently maintain your joy, peace, and contentment. Therefore, let this season remind you of why you can have joy, peace, and contentment. You can because of the birth of Jesus Christ.
TAKE TIME TO EXPRESS YOUR GRATITUDE
In a world that seems to constantly demand more, many people struggle to find the time to tap into the frequency of love. However, when you slow down long enough, you come to realize that love is the fuel that helps you to accomplish more. Love is the fuel that allows you to connect and interact with compassion to those around you. You rediscover an attitude of gratitude for all the many blessings that have been bestowed upon you. You give praise and thanks for waking up this morning and you appreciate the sunrise and even the rain. For in life, we come to realize it is a rhythm of cycles and seasons and they will eventually pass. The objective is to be grateful for each cycle or season for each presented you with an opportunity to love and grow. At first it may not be easy, but learn to shift your perspective by asking, “What can I gain from this experience that will help me to grow into the best version of myself?”
MAY 2025 BE A YEAR OF EMPOWERING CHANGE
The plans you had for this year may not have gone the way you wanted; however, there was still some growth along the way. You learned what does not work for you. You finally learned a lesson that you had to learn to move on to the next phase of your life/journey. I learned that no matter how intensely I want something for someone else, I cannot make it a reality. Meaning, the power to change our life is ours and not someone else, the question I leave you with is, “Will 2025 be the year that you finally commit to doing consistently what it takes to be the best version of you?” MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your loved ones.
