Mastering The Art Of Acceptance

You can accept reality, or you can keep resisting, raise you stress level, and destroy your total health.  I know, I resisted my reality for twenty-two years.  A testament to the power of my will, some may say, I say “a testament to my pride”.

Unconditional Love Allows You To Accept

I did not want to accept, because then I would have to admit that I was not perfect.  That I had made some mistakes.  Yet, when I finally stopped running and accepted my reality, I realized I had made the mistakes because I was being unloving and lacked wisdom.  However, in stopping and accepting, I was then forced to do the loving thing.  I learned to forgive myself.  It may sound easy to some, or even silly; however, the inability to forgive oneself is at the root of many people living a life of unhappiness, dissatisfaction, and mediocrity.

Settling For Less Than Your Full Potential

When you fail to accept, you resist and by default, you block or limit your full potential.  When you fail to accept, you set yourself up for increased stress, which negatively impacts your total health. Therein lies the rub, success is not achieved by forceful arrogance and pride; instead, it is achieved with gentle humility and love.  It is interesting how we can look at a word and develop limiting beliefs when we lack understanding of the true meaning of the word.  Many people think that love makes them vulnerable; however, unconditional love is the most empowering force in the universe.  Being humble is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of one’s strength of character.

Acceptance Allows For A Life Of Abundance

You accept, which sets you free, to fully live abundantly.  You accept:

  1. The reason for your creation is greater than you can imagine
  2. That you are loved immensely by the greatest Father in the Universe
  3. Your Father wants you to prosper and not live in mediocrity
  4. Loving yourself as you love each other is the second best decision ever
  5. You are not a mistake, and your life and happiness matters to your Father
  6. That there are many things beyond your control that you will never understand
  7. Your will power is ineffective, but the power of the Spirit within you moves mountains
  8. Change is uncomfortable but necessary for your growth and total health
  9. That being obedient is the key to living abundantly
  10. That some days, you need more help than others from your Father
  11. Disappointments are a part of life and may be valuable lessons when you trust
  12. That what you want most is not necessarily what’s best for you
  13. Sometimes you have to let go of your dreams in order to achieve your full potential
  14. Your greatest obstacle is your will and your greatest asset is your mind
