Fear is NOT of God! It is amazing how many people are living in fear. What’s even more disturbing is that many of them do not realize they are living in fear. We are spiritual and physical beings, just about everyone would agree to this. Please BELIEVE and KNOW that God did not give us a spirit of fear. Our gracious and loving Father gifted us a spirit of POWER, LOVE, and a SOUND MIND. Understand that fear is a spiritual attack.

WHAT OR WHO CAUSES YOU TO CREATE FEAR?

You are creating fear because you DOUBT God’s love, power, sovereignty, faithfulness, providence, mercy, and grace. When we doubt God (Jesus Christ), then by default we end up believing the lies of others and Satan (that’s how he tripped Eve up in the Garden of Eden). Your lack of FAITH and TRUST in God’s righteousness and dependability has disconnected you from your source of PEACE, which ultimately destroys your TOTAL HEALTH because you are living in a constant state of dis-ease. Therefore, the end result is that you create fear because you have become spiritually misaligned. You are not properly connected to or in some cases disconnected from the source of love, peace, and truth that is within you.

GET RID OF FEAR WITH LOVE AND TRUTH

Remember the mnemonic: fear is False Evidence Appearing Real! You are being bombarded with lies and because you are stressed and confused, you stop thinking clearly, and the lies begin to seem believable. The solution is to check your lenses. Are they biblical lenses or man-made? Instead of believing what you are seeing, start KNOWING and believing the truth in your heart and soul. However, you must step back enough to allow yourself to regain clarity.

2. RENOUNCE THE LIES IN THE NAME OF JESUS

What is the truth you must know and believe? God is truth. Get rid of fear when you ALLOW the truth to guide your steps. God is light. Let God shine truth and light in every situation in your life. See clearly and know, God is ALWAYS in control. God is Sovereign. Furthermore, He has promised NEVER to fail or forsake us. Remember, He will never give us more than we can bear. Therefore, instead of running from fear to food (or whatever your D.O.C. is), STAND STILL and know the Great I Am is right there with you. The Great I Am who has overcome it all.

THIS ONLY WORKS IF YOU BELIEVE

Remember that you used your FREE WILL and chose to create fear. We always have choices. I am constantly befuddled by some of the choices I make, so do not think that you are the only one making poor or unhealthy choices. We CHOOSE in any given moment between fear and love. Why do we choose fear repeatedly? Go back and EXAMINE YOUR STORY.  What is the story you are telling yourself 24/7?

• I am not good enough
• I can’t do this
• I am not deserving
• I am such a loser
• God does not really love me
• I am a failure if I am not perfect

And I am sure there are many more stories that you can add to the above. Of course, they are stories that are fictional, not grounded in truth and love. Have you ever STOPPED and wondered why Satan is so invested in keeping you trapped in or chained to fear? What has FEAR cost you?

Fear has kept you from a healthy relationship with your loving Father (Jesus Christ), living abundantly, and total health. We all have 2 options:

1. Continue in fear and SUFFER with dis-ease/disease

OR

• Choose LOVE and LIVE with abundant ease (maximum joy, peace, and contentment)
